Introducing SELEMIX® ColorReader, a digital tool for simple colour identification

SELEMIX®, PPG’s leading brand for light industrial coatings, has added another innovative tool to its digital portfolio with the launch of ColorReader across the EMEA region. ColorReader is a portable, handheld device designed to make the colour identification aspect of refinishing processes quicker,  easier and more accurate than ever.

Offering high precision and colour accuracy, the device takes just seconds to display a range of matches from an inbuilt library of over 2,600 Selemix colours. Up to 10,000 colour readings can be created, stored and shared between users with ease, thanks to ColorReader’s internal storage.

The ColorReader device can be used as a standalone tool, displaying colour information on an OLED screen, but delivers optimal performance when used in conjunction with its dedicated mobile app. Available to download from key app stores, the mobile app is compatible with most iOS and Android smartphones and tablets.
